Founded in 2002, this website has been a resource for performers, composers, teachers, scholars, and others who are interested in works with horn by female composers. I appreciate all the feedback and additions to the catalog that many of you have sent. Please keep them coming! Over 1,000 pieces are now listed in the catalog and I will continue to add to this list. Many musicians simply don't know about these works and it is my hope that this resource will help them find new pieces to study and perform.

The catalog includes solo and chamber music with horn by female composers from around the world (up to 12 instruments). A large part of this list is collected from the sources listed under "sources." I am especially indebted to Monique Buzzarté and Heidi Boenke for their previous compiliations. Since all of the sources that were consulted are in various formats, I have tried to consolidate and fill in as much information about each work as I could find. Therefore, this list is just a beginning and I will continue to update it as I discover more information about each piece and as I become aware of more works.
